How Do You Find Email Addresses?
Before you can find someone’s email address, you need to have a basic understanding about email addresses. Email addresses are composed of two parts. First, you have the email name, which is sometimes referred to as a user name or email ID. Second, you have to have their email domain. A domain is the organization that manages the email account. The email and domain name are separated by an @ symbol. For example, MyEmailName@anydomain. An email ID can be case sensitive, but usually are not.
There is no email directory containing the email addresses of all the people in the world. It would be nearly impossible to create, much less maintain such a directory. So, you have to look for other methods for finding someone’s email address.
If you have ever received an email message from someone, it is easy to find his or her address. Look at the email field From: Their email address follows the From: field. If there are brackets (<>) around the name, do not include them in the email address.
If someone has an email address, give him or her your email address and ask him or her to email you. You can then add their name to your email contact list.

Finally, you can try to search for their name using an Internet search engine. The more details you know about their name, the better. For example, it is better to search on first, middle and last name if you can. Keep in mind that there are a lot of people with the same name. Also, it is wise to put the name in quotes. Otherwise, you may get every person that has the first or last name you enter. For example, type in “John Q. Doe” rather than John Q. Doe.
