Everyone wants quality software at bargain prices and I'm sure you're no exception. However, the word cheap is relative. Do you want quality software that costs very little money or do you want quality software that costs less in comparison to the competition?

Many people think discount software is poor quality software. That simply isn't true. You can purchase quality software for your home, school or business at reduced prices every day. In fact, you can get some very good software free… absolutely no cost at all.

Sometimes it's hard to know where to find quality software programs at reasonable prices. We’ve spent months researching and reviewing software programs to make it easier for you to make the right purchasing decision.

At “Software Review”, we review software programs that are free, inexpensive or just down- right unbeatable. We discuss the things that are important for you to know. Before you purchase any software for your home, school or business, you need to learn the difference between the different types of software.

“Freeware” is free software. You pay nothing. However, freeware authors don’t have the resources or time to support a free program. You’ll have to look elsewhere for answers. However, there are some outstanding freeware programs that are very reliable and require little support.

“Shareware” is software you can try out before you buy. Enter some data, run some reports. Give it a good workout. If it works, then you pay for it. Otherwise, you keep looking. The idea of trying out a software product before you buy it is always a good idea.

"Discounted" software  is exactly what the name implies:

1. It is software normally sold at a higher cost, but is currently on sale.

2. It is computer software regularly sold at discounted prices by high volume companies.

3. It is software programs sold at bargain prices by companies who don't provide software support.

Regardless of the type of software, you need to have a pretty good idea of what you’re getting in a computer program before you pay. After all, a “cheap program” isn’t cheap if you can’t use it and you can’t return it.
